Welcome to the Coastal Bend Silent Club's official website! With this new website we hope to provide updated information to our members and viewers and to recruit new members.
The Coastal Bend Silent Club, also known as CBSC or the Deaf Club, was established in 1961 to provide a link between the deaf and hard of hearing community in South Texas. It was also designed to educate the hearing population about deafness and the ability of people who were deaf.
Our website is designed to inform the public about our organization and to provide information for our members or interested visitors. Visit our "Who We Are" section to learn about our officers, history, and other business-related information. Feel free to join our next event or meeting, as shown on our "Calendar." We invite ALL individuals in our area to join us for fun, learning, and sharing. If you are from outside the South Texas region, please join our forum (coming soon) where we try to answer questions and post comments about deaf and hard of hearing news and issues. If you're interested and qualify, join the club by filling out the form on "Join Us".
